Pre -Production

Call-a-budget  provides quick and informative breakdowns. Based on a thorough script analysis all relevant factors will be considered, such as choice of locations/regions/countries, as well as availibility of actors, regional factors, demands of clients and subsidy funds. Requirements of director, production design, camera and others will be incorporated as well as requirements for digital postproduction and animation.
 
Based on the breakdown we provide a first version of a schedule and deliver analyses for the departments such as art direction, construction, costumes, camera. The production budgeting will be based on breakdowns and schedule.
 
The production budget will be provided in the form you request or deliver. Germany usually works either with the so-called FFA-form (federal film subsidy fund) or with forms of the tv-channels as ZDF, RTL, or others. Call-a-budget is familiar with the usual German and international schemes and adapts the budgets to the specific requirements of the project. 

Applications for feature film subsidies in Germany will be provided with all appendices as required from the resp.subsidy fund.
 
Once schedule and budget are done and agreed, Call-a-budgett prepares and provides the cash-flow-budget, based also on schedule, budget, and other data. If requested, Call-a-budget also prepares and provides a finance-plan, based on the data you deliver and following the requirements of the subsidy-funds, if any.
